Insurance
The full-service, white-glove collision center at Metro Motor® works with all major insurance providers to ensure a hassle-free restoration of your vehicle.
Here's how the auto body repair process works with insurance.
The aftermath of an accident and, especially, navigating the insurance process can be overwhelming – particularly if you have never been through it before. To help make things clearer, we've put together a handy overview of how we manage the process to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for you.
- Preliminary Estimate vs. Insurance Estimate
When you bring your vehicle to Metro Motor, we provide a preliminary estimate based on our initial assessment of the visible damage. This estimate may differ from the one your insurance company provides. Insurance estimates are often based on a visual inspection or photos and may not account for all necessary repairs. - Working with Your Insurance Company
Once we begin repairs, we communicate directly with your insurance provider on your behalf. If we discover additional damage, we submit the necessary documentation to your insurer to fill in any gaps and ensure all required repairs are covered. Our goal is to match the estimates and get the approval needed to restore your vehicle properly. - Approval & Repair Process
Before we proceed with repairs, we must receive approval from your insurance company. Once approved, we will begin work and keep you updated throughout the process. - Ongoing Communication
We believe in keeping you informed every step of the way. If there are any updates, delays, or changes to the repair timeline, we will notify you promptly so you know what to expect.
Our team is here to assist you and to make the repair process as seamless as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We’re happy to help!
Keep exploring.
